Counselling, Psychotherapy & Ecotherapy
Welcome to my virtual space! I am a qualified counsellor (MNCPS) and a trainee psychotherapist (UKATA). I offer short and long term counselling and relational psychotherapy in-person, online and or outdoors in nature. My trainings include grief support with Cruse and St. Joseph’s Hospice, addiction harm reduction with Change Grow Live, climate anxiety with Climate Psychology Alliance. I am committed to working with clients to help them improve their relationship with themselves, others and the wider world. One of my current interests is Perinatal counselling and psychotherapy: supporting individuals with current and historic experiences on their journey to having children or not.

Therapy in Nature
Many people enjoy being outdoors in nature. Research confirms that being outside in green or blue spaces reduces stress levels, with woodlands or beaches providing a calming effect on the nervous system, helping us to regulate our emotions (Kaplan & Kaplan). Immersed in nature, grounding through our senses can help quieten the mind and invite us back into our bodies, re-attuning us to our ‘gut feelings’. Walking alongside or sitting next to each other outdoors, there is often a greater sense of ease and collaboration; clients often find it a more gentle and natural way to open up talk with their therapist. Creative ecotherapy practices that can be woven into outdoor sessions in nature for interested clients.
